What a lovely village pub! The atmosphere was warm, and the staff were exceptionally friendly. Though I faced a bit of a wait for the food, it was hearty and well-prepared. the dessert was delightful and worth every bite! Definitely a place to revisit.

The cottage stay was perfect, and dining at the pub was the highlight! We had the Sunday roast, and it was superb—big portions and piping hot. Everyone enjoyed their meals, especially the fresh veggies and thick-cut ham. Plus, the locals were so welcoming, making it feel like home.

The room was really comfy. the bed felt great. We had nice tea and coffee making facilities, which were a bonus. It was clean and pleasantly decorated. Just a heads up, the ensuite was a bit small, so it felt a little cramped at times. But overall, it was a cozy spot to crash after a long day.

Had an amazing time with friends! The locals were super friendly and we loved the Sunday roast. We also explored some great walking trails nearby and enjoyed the vibe of the village pub. The staff really go above and beyond, and breakfast was fantastic.

The ensuite was on the smaller side, which was a bit cramped for us, but we managed just fine.

    delicious meal
    beautiful garden
    broken kettle

We had a lovely lunch here, and the bangers and mash were out of this world, paired with some tasty cheesy garlic bread. The garden area was perfect for relaxing with a drink while the kids played in the beautiful surroundings. Just a minor hiccup with the kettle not working, but it didn’t spoil our stay at all. 😊
